We practice 3 days a week:

Friday 6.30pm-8pm

The Swim Canada / Swim NB fee must be paid before the start of the season. This payment goes directly to Swim NB and Swim Canada to ensure swimmers are officially registered, insured, and eligible to compete in sanctioned events.
The WVST fee for 2025-2026 season is $1125.00
Options for payment include:
* if you commit to volunteering for a minimum of 50 hours, the club fee may be reduced. Please let us know if you would like to volunteer this season.
Swim Meets are held within the province with some opportunities available to travel out of province with the club invitation.
There are various levels of meets that require little to no qualifying time standards that most of the team will be attending initially.
With increased training and racing experience, swimmers will achieve time standards that will open opportunities to attend higher-level meets.
Swimmers are expected to have the following gear as soon as possible. Items can be purchased from a variety of swimming suppliers, including Speedo, TYR Sport, Swim Outlet, and Arena, etc.
There is no requirement to use a specific brand, but swimsuits should be well-fitted, comfortable, and suitable for training.
Team colors are purple and black, and many members choose suits in these colors.

WVST Board of Directors are working hard to apply for various grants and offer fundraising opportunities in hopes of lessening the cost for families; however, this is not guaranteed.
All families will have the opportunity to work towards fundraising for the team. In past seasons the team has done a Grand in your Hand, 50/50 draw.
We’re always on the lookout for fun and creative fundraising ideas to support the team’s needs. If you have suggestions or want to help, please bring your ideas forward — we’d love to hear from you.
We are excited to welcome you into our Stingray family. Parents are very involved and work together to create opportunities for our swimmers. Being a volunteer-run club, parent involvement is crucial to our success. Our enthusiastic parents volunteer on deck, help with fundraising efforts, and take on many other important roles. We need your support to keep the team strong and thriving.
Parents are invited to be part of the Board of Directors which focuses on steering the club and making decisions pertinent to each swimmer. There will also be monthly meetings with parents during the first 15-20 minutes of practice to keep parents well-informed.
Please note that if your swimmer plans to attend swim meets, that it is MANDATORY for you to volunteer as a Timer at least once during the meet.
